We’d like you to meet our new trainee: Loreen Brink! Loreen will be working at SportsinQ a couple of days a week for the upcoming months. She’ll be working together with Siem Schoenaker and assist in further developing and implementing the high-performance programs for corporates. For further introductions, we give the floor to Loreen:
“Hi! I am Loreen Brink, 22 years old and living in beautiful Utrecht. I started as a graduate intern at SportsInQ at the beginning of February, and I would like to introduce myself.
From an early age I have always been passionate about sports and events. I have currently been a board member of the Rhine Week in Rhenen for two years, a local festival where I am involved in programming, marketing communications and sponsorship. In addition, I have been organizing my own house event for a number of years and I am active as a team leader and trainer at football club SV Candia’66 ladies 1. As a proud Ajax fan, I can often be found in the Johan Cruijff Arena to cheer on my favorite team with my mother or friend. Results-oriented, responsible and proactive: that’s me. After unfortunately having to give up my own football career due to two torn cruciate ligaments, I want to continue to use my passion for sports, but in the corporate sports sector.
I am currently in my final year of the Leisure & Event Management course at Inholland University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam. During my studies I gained valuable experiences, such as an internship at AFC Ajax, where I got an insight into managing a professional football organization and the various aspects involved. I also followed the minor in Sport, Business & Leadership at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Through this minor I came into contact with Bartel and his organization SportsInQ.
The mission of SportsInQ, in which sports principles are used to strengthen teams and organizations, appeals to me enormously. At SportsInQ I will be committed to further developing and implementing the high-performance programs for companies in the coming months. This means that I will help take leadership, culture and collaboration to the next level within the corporate sector.
I am very much looking forward to using my enthusiasm and knowledge and working with the professionals at SportsInQ. I am sure I can learn a lot here and hope to make a valuable contribution to the impact the company makes.
Hopefully see you soon!”
