What we do
We as an organization live and create through our belief in Olympism. ‘Olympism seeks to create a way of life by blending sport with culture, education and international co-operation. It is based on the joy of effort, the educational value of good example, social responsibility and respect for universal fundamental ethical principles. The main goal of Olympism is to place sport at the service of the harmonious development of humankind, with a view to promoting a peaceful society concerned with the preservation of human dignity.’
Leadership is about knowing yourself, knowing where you come from, and who you want to be as a leader. What is important to you as a person, what do you want to contribute to the urgent themes of the world? Leadership also means being critical and honest towards your organization. Could you manage a high-performance environment? Is there a match between the goals of the organization and you as a leader? What can you contribute? Can you manage interdisciplinary collaborations? Our experience as leaders in high-performance sports, education and development has convinced us that interdisciplinary collaboration is the key to success.
